Deadline® Monitor
The Monitor application offers detailed information and control options for each job and slave on the network. Monitor is composed primarily of 4 information lists: a job listing, a task listing, a slave listing and a limit group listings.
Job Submission Dialogs
The submission dialogs are used to submit rendering jobs to Deadline®. They are either written in their respective appplication's own scripting language and integrate directly into the software, or they are written in vbscript and can be accessed from the Submit menu in the Deadline® Monitor.
Deadline® Slave
The Deadline® Slave is the application that does the actual rendering.
Deadline® Pulse
Deadline® Pulse is used to improve Deadline® performance. It can be used to decrease the time a Slave waits between job searches, and improve the speed of the Monitor. Note that Deadline® Pulse is not required to use Deadline®.
Deadline® Configuration
The Deadline® Configuration tool is used to modify settings on slave render clients as a group. Many clients can be selected and modified at once, or modifications can be made to individual machines. This tool also offers the options of start/stop/restart render client software.
